About the Athletic Trainer System
ATS was created by Tom Shoup (founder and owner of Horizon information Systems) in the early
1990s in response to the needs of the training staff of several professional football teams.
Here is a short list of the functionality currently available in the ATS program:

In 2006, Horizon Information Systems reached an agreement with Keffer Development Services for them to take over development, support and ownership of ATS.
Version 3.0 has been released and is available for evaluation now.
